Welcome to my piano studio!  I look forward to a wonderful educational experience, with the joy of making music together.

Mastery of any instrument takes time, enthusiasm, attention and determination.  It is my expectation that my students will study for a year or, at the very least, a semester.  This allows for consistent growth over a reasonable time frame.  Less than the minimum time, and you have passed up an exceptional opportunity before you ever had a chance to succeed.

Lessons.  I teach in student's homes in the greater Los Angeles area including Pasadena, Altadena, La Canada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, Glendale, Burbank, Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Hollywood, Esat and South Pasadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Monrovia, Alhambra, Temple City, Rosemead, etc.

Tuition.  Monthly payments are due at the first lesson of the month, covering all weeks within that month.  Please let me know if you will be out of town, taking holidays or are ill.  I will be happy to re-schedule lessons at our mutual convenience.

Missed lessons.  If you need to re-schedule at short notice, please try to give me 24 hours' notice.  You may call, text or leave me an email. 

​

Please be ready on time.  Both of our time is valuable, so lessons will be conducted within the allotted time as much as possible. 

​

Practice.  Student's learning will be best with 5 or 6 days of practice per week.  This is optimum.  Learning and facility will slow down with less frequent practice. 

​

Books and materials.  I will provide the necessary books, theory homework, sheet music or other materials at the student's expense.  I will give you store receipts so that you may add these costs to the next month's tuition.  If you wish your child to participate in the Certiface of Merit or other MTAC activities, you will need to cover those fees.
